Mahfuzur Rahman, chairman and managing director of ATN Bangla, has announced that he will not be performing on Eid this year. Since 2016, he has been a regular presence on his channel with Eid performances, but this time, due to health reasons and a busy schedule, he has decided to step back, RTV Online reports, citing the public relations department of ATN Bangla.
Despite the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Mahfuzur Rahman continued his musical tradition in previous years. During the last Eid-ul-Adha, he performed songs in both Bengali and Hindi. His solo musical show, "Joriye Achi Tomay," was broadcast on ATN Bangla and ATN News, featuring a mix of Bengali and Hindi songs.
