After nearly a decade of romance, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have officially tied the knot in an intimate Udaipur ceremony, sharing heartfelt messages with fans as they blended Telugu and Kodava traditions to celebrate their union.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot this morning, formalising a relationship that has spanned nearly a decade. The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony at ITC Mementos in Udaipur.
Soon after the wedding rituals, both actors shared messages on social media, drawing widespread attention online. Rashmika posted an emotional note introducing Vijay as her husband, reflecting on the role he has played in her life. She described him as someone who taught her the meaning of love and inner peace, and expressed gratitude for the growth she experienced alongside him. She concluded with a message about beginning a new chapter together and building a life as partners.
Vijay also shared a message, writing about how incomplete his days felt when they were apart and how her presence gave him a sense of home and calm. He marked the occasion with the date, 26.02.2026, describing the decision to marry his closest friend.
The ceremony, titled The Wedding of VIROSH; a nod to the portmanteau used by fans – included traditional Telugu rituals followed by Kodava customs, honouring both families’ cultural backgrounds. The intimate morning event was attended by close relatives, friends and a few colleagues from the industry. A second celebration later in the day was planned to highlight Rashmika’s Kodava heritage.
After the ceremony, members of the couple’s team distributed sweets to media personnel and paparazzi gathered outside the venue.
Rashmika and Vijay first worked together in the 2018 romantic film Geetha Govindam.
Speculation about their relationship began soon after the film’s release, as they were frequently seen together at public events and on trips. In October 2025, the couple announced their engagement at a private ceremony in Hyderabad, leading to their wedding today.
