This Eid-ul-Adha, local OTT platform Chorki has released four major Bangladeshi films—Borbaad, Daagi, Chokkor 302, and Jongli—under the campaign titled "Birat Gurur Haat". The initiative aims to bring popular theatrical titles to a broader audience, especially those who missed them in cinemas. Chorki CEO Redwan Rony said the platform wants to offer joyful, family-friendly entertainment during the holidays and provide a legal alternative to pirated content. Borbaad, a high-energy Indo-Bangla production starring Shakib Khan and Indian actress Idhika Paul, highlights a rare cross-border collaboration and has now been made accessible to digital audiences. Daagi, directed by Shihab Shaheen, stars Afran Nisho as a reformed convict navigating his past. Nisho described it as a perfect fit for home viewing during Eid. In Chokkor 302, Mosharraf Karim returns to the screen as a police officer entangled in a murder investigation, with director Sharaf Ahmed Jibon crafting a suspenseful, morally complex story. Despite recovering from surgery, Karim personally attended screenings, showing his dedication to fans. Meanwhile, Jongli showcases Siam Ahmed in a gritty, rugged role alongside Shobnom Bubly and Prarthana Fardin Dighi. Directed by M Raahim and written by Nazim Ud Daula, the film blends revenge, love, and loss. First released in April, Jongli gained critical attention and now reaches new audiences through Chorki.
